Emergency Call Systems

What is an Emergency Call System (ECS)

Emergency Call Systems are also referred to as Warden Call and Nurse Call. They come in the form of Group Living systems or Dispersed Alarms, both enabling a resident to call for help.

Group Living Systems

Group Living systems are often found in developments designated for over 55’s, commonly allowing a resident to call for help via a Wall Mounted Speech unit, a Personal trigger device such as a pendant, or a pullcord. The alert is then sent to either a Scheme manager at the resident’s development or to an ARC or Alarm Receiving Centre, where the resident can be spoken to and help can be raised if required 24/7 365 days a year. These systems can have many adaptations to suit a resident’s needs, ensuring they are safe and secure, and help can be raised when required.

OSG Ltd are independent of any manufacturer, and have stores and resources to maintain legacy systems from Tynetec, Tunstall, Chubb and many others. Dispersed Alarms

Dispersed alarms can be installed in grouped living or individual living environments. With no need for a fixed telephone line, the Tynetec Reach IP is easily installed and can raise a call to an ARC or family in a matter of seconds.
